Glenfarclas 15YO Single Malt

Tasting Notes

70cl/46% ABV Highland Scotland More sophisticated than younger whiskies of the Glenfarclas range, this 15 Year-Old whisky is the ideal spirit for true whisky lovers. This is a Speyside Single Malt aged in Sherry casks, that shows great balance and liveliness. Glenfarclas 15 Years Old is a quite famous version and purists deem this age ideal to coax out the full complexity of this malt. John L.S. Grant explains the reasons for its volume of 46° alcohol: "we bottle at 46% of alcohol only because my grand-father loved to have it that way. It is still one of the family's favourites." It is certainly the most balanced of Glenfarclas.
