If whiskies were movie stars, this would be the Marlon Brando, it’s seriously that good! Nose Notes of burnt butter, peat smoke, apples, rhubarb, honey and some milk chocolate. Taste Quite easy (and pleasing) and acidic, in a appley kind of way. Notes of peat, citrus. Finish Easy and quite delicate peat. Not quite as raw and medicinal as it’s younger cousins. A lot of apples notes in the finish, with lemon and minerals. The buttery feeling comes back here with a long (milk chocolate) finish. This 2013 bottling was awarded the title "Best Cask Strength Single Malt" at the International Wine and Spirits Competition
