70cl/40% ABV Speyside Scotland Last 2 Bottles! Glenlivet was the first distillery in the region to be licensed to distill whiskies and has been producing since 1824. Today it is one of the best-known and largest malt whisky distilleries. The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve matures in ex-Bourbon barrels, most of them belong to the First-Fill category - barrels in which no whisky has previously been stored. It is not known how many years the maturation takes. The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve unfolds as "typically Speyside" in the nose: with a fruity-sweet blend and light citrus aromas - including apples, pears, apricot and honey. The confirmation of the aromas can be experienced during tasting: "sweet" and "fruity" dominate as attributes here as well. The different notes are well balanced and combine to a very mild whisky.
